Josh Heyum
Principal – Leasing & Sales

Josh Heyum specializes in leasing and sales of office, retail and industrial product in the Puget Sound region. Formerly Director of Leasing for a large portfolio owner prior to forming Vista Pacific Group, Josh brings to his clients very creative and solution-oriented ideas that make for outstanding results on lease or sales transactions.

A proponent of real estate generally, Josh engages in real estate as an investor himself, offering clients a unique perspective as both an advisor and a principal.

Extensive experience in leasing, sales and asset management has laid a foundation in creatively serving the needs of landlords, tenants and investors of commercial real estate.

Josh, his wife, Dana and their son Carter, reside in Issaquah, WA.

Dexter Lai
Designated Broker

As a licensed Washington State real estate broker, Dexter has been involved in commercial real estate investment and management in the Puget Sound area since 1997. Through his own investment and the syndications he formed with many individual investors, Dexter is currently managing a portfolio of real estate investment totaling over $40MM in asset value and over 200,000 square feet including industrial/flex/retail/office/medical properties and residential income properties in Puget Sound area, Class-A condo offices in Shanghai, China, and multifamily income properties in Taipei, Taiwan. Dexter is also the designated broker of the property management company, DCL Management, LLC, which manages more than 250,000 square feet commercial and residential income properties.

In addition to his tenure in commercial real estate investment, Dexter’s experiences in business, management and vendor/client relationship are extensive. Prior to his full time involvement in Vista Pacific Group and DCL Management, Dexter was the CEO & President of Able Computer Systems which he founded in 1994 and brought from start up to a $22 million multi-branch company among top 100 PC System Builders in USA. Dexter holds a PhD degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation, he turned down the engineering career offers from automotive and aerospace industry and entered into a business career as the purchasing/operational manager for a small computer company, Equus Computer, which he helped grow 7 times in 3 years prior to founding his own computer company.

To serve the growing need from the investors in acquisition and the leasing and sale for property owners, Dexter co-founded Vista Pacific Group to provide dedicated brokerage service. As designated broker he would like to apply his extensive knowledge and experience in commercial real estate investment and leasing to help investors and property owners in meeting their investment objective and making their commercial real estate ownership experience simpler and more enjoyable.

Vivian Lai
CFO

As the CFO, Vivian draws on her 30 years extensive background in finance and accounting to oversee budgeting, bills collection, financial reporting, and portfolio financing need.

Vivian is a State of Washington Real Estate Broker since year 2008, has been Broker with Coldwell Banker specializing in helping clients in both residential and commercial purchasing and sale, leasing transactions.

Prior to her full time involvement in DCL Management, Vivian was the Co-Founder and CFO of Able Computer Systems, founded in 1994 and brought from start up to a $22 million multi-branch company among top 100 PC System Builders in USA.

Vivian holds a Master of Accountancy degree from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH; received Bachelor of Arts Degree major in Foreign Language and Literature from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan.

Erik Gassert
Property Manager

Erik joins DCL Management in year 2004, has extensive 14 years of property management experience to oversee property maintenance, negotiate contract service, execute tenant/capital improvements, fostering good tenant relationship, and manage day-to day operations for both commercial and residential portfolio consisting over 250,000 square feet.

Erik graduated from Central Washington University with Bachelor of Science Degree major in Business Administration
